  Deacon Michael Lee Foster

Michael Lee was born in Portsmouth, Virginia and was graduated from Portsmouth Catholic High School and Old Dominion University. He served 35 years as flight crew in the U. S. Naval Air Reserves and retired in January of 2006 having accumulated over 6,000 hours of flight time. He served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield and also Iraqi Freedom and Noble Eagle.

Michael Lee moved to Manalapan in September 1984 and joined The Parish of Saint Thomas More. He has served in the parish as a Lector, Acolyte and Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion. He is a founding member of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society Conference in our parish and served as its first president for a period of six years. He is a Past Grand Knight, Former District Deputy and Past Faithful Navigator of the Knights of Columbus.

Michael Lee is married to the former Mary McNeill from County Derry, Northern Ireland. He is currently employed since January 2004 as the Director of National Sales Managed Sites for SBA Site Management, a subsidiary of SBA Communications.

He remains an avid aviator and enjoys boating and spending time with his wife while entertaining their 25 nieces and nephews from Northern Ireland.
