The music ministry enables the members of our parish to musically participate in the life and liturgy of the Church. Music is of preeminent importance among the signs and symbols that the Church uses to celebrate its faith.

Singing is an integral part of the liturgy. When words are sung, they can speak more fully and effectively, allowing us as worshippers to express and share our faith more deeply.

Adult Choir:
This choir rehearses on Thursdays from 7:30 - 9:00 PM in St. Thomas More Church. It enlivens the 10:00 Mass on Sundays throughout the school year.

Children's Choir:
The St. Thomas More Children’s Choir will allow children at our parish to participate musically in the life of the church. Musical expression can foster in children transcendent experiences, strengthening their belief in the constant presence of God. Music can be a profound entrance into a rich spiritual life. Participation in the choir can give children a deeper understanding of the liturgies of the church, strengthening the values they learn in the Religious Education Program. The Children’s Choir will be a catalyst to help our young people claim their place in the liturgical life of the parish. The Children’s Choir is for those in grades 1-5, and rehearses on Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:15 PM in St. Thomas More Church and sings at various liturgies throughout the school year.

Handbell Choir:
This group of bell ringers brings joy and festivity to various liturgies, and rehearses on Thursdays from 6:30 – 7:30 in St. Thomas More Church.

Resurrection Choir:
This group helps lead singing and shares our parish’s support at funerals. Members will be contacted when there is a funeral, and sing along with the congregation.

Cantors/Leaders of Song:
Cantors/Leaders of Song welcome the congregation to Mass, announce the music, rehearse new music with the congregation, lead the songs during the liturgy while encouraging the congregation to participate, and sing the psalm for the Mass. If you have a good voice, can read music, and are comfortable singing and speaking before an audience, please consider helping to lead the music at our liturgies.
